Tackle :

You may bring your own rods and reels, but Lakers does have an excellent selection of Loomis rods, as well as all the tackle needed to handle big pike and trout. We operate on a loan system, and borrowed tackle is simply returned at the end of your stay; the only tackle you pay for is what is lost, or that which you choose to buy.

Fly fishermen should bring their own tackle.

Communications (there is a charge for these services):

- Satellite cellular phone
- High-speed wireless internet

- We are able to charge batteries and other small electrical items on our small generator. We prefer to do this during the day so everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet during the evening; if you can, bring a spare camera or video battery to use on days when the other is being charged.

- We are now creating weekly updates to our website, throughout the fishing season. If you have a digital came ra, we encourage you to bring the cable so we can upload pictures from your trip.

Food

Please let us know in advance about any food allergies. We are open to suggestions and will do our best to fulfill any reasonable requests – if you have a favourite dessert, for example, let us know.
