June 16-23

Opening week at Johnston was great. Newcomer Daniela was over the moon with a 42 pound laker. A group of seven fly-fishermen had a ball, catching multiple pike over twenty pounds - one fellow alone caught five - with some pretty exciting double-headers. The pike were slashing at everything from poppers on the surface to leech patterns.

Eleven-year-old Dylan rode up from Colorado on the back of his Dad's hog to catch this 44-inch hog - looks like he can't quite believe it!
